Michael Borden

Principal

Michael Borden is a veteran operator and investor with a track record of translating disruptive technologies into scalable, high-value businesses. As the Founder and CEO of Borden Industries, he leads companywide strategy, capital formation, and partnerships. His portfolio spans diverse, high-barrier-to-entry sectors, including industrial manufacturing, biotechnology, nuclear power (Valar Atomics), and military defense (Knightwerx).

A native of Las Vegas, Mr. Borden previously served as Co-Founder, President, and COO of Switch Communications, playing a pivotal role in building one of the world's most critical data center ecosystems before his exit in 2010. His investment acumen is further demonstrated by early positions in successful ventures such as TruFusion and Reebok One.

Beyond his commercial success, Mr. Borden is a dedicated community leader. He served on the board of Habitat for Humanity for 12 years—eight as Chairman—and currently serves as Advisory Chair for Mondays Dark, where he is spearheading a $55 million capital raise for a new community center.
